About Me

I am a highly experienced Economics and Business tutor with over 27 years of teaching at a leading independent school and more than 15 years as an examiner for major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel and OCR.

I tutor both online and in person, offering flexible support to suit each student’s needs. My approach is warm, supportive and tailored to individual strengths. I focus on building confidence, strengthening understanding of key concepts and helping students achieve the grades they are truly capable of.

Whether a student aims for top grades or needs help rebuilding the foundations, my lessons combine clear explanations, strong exam technique and professional insight into how papers are marked, ensuring real progress and measurable results.

I offer one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s exam board, strengths and areas for improvement. Lessons focus on clear explanations, exam skills and building confidence over time.

Group Classes

Weekly term-time group classes and ad hoc holiday sessions (Christmas, Easter and May) are available for both Economics and Business.

Fees

121 Lessons: £75.00 per hour (includes setting and marking of homework as well as regular feedback).

Group Sessions: £30.00 per student, maximum of 6 students per group.
